group travel grant
Our Group Travel grant will be awarded to a group planning a trip that will provide the participants with a deeper understanding of intercultural differences and allow them to embark on a journey contributing to their personal development. The trip must include an adventure, educational or volunteer component and take place outside of the group's place of residence.
The travel project must show clear benefits both for the participants than the host community.
Fall 2019’s Grants Competition
Application period: From September 30th to November 8th, 17h00 EST
Grant amount : $1,500
• The group must consist of 10 people minimum and the members must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents and reside in Canada
• The travellers must be less than 35 years old (except chaperon) and if the group consist of underaged participants, they must be accompanied by an adult for the whole duration of the trip
• Pursue a travel-related project with a purpose other than tourism, cruises, commercial activities or formal academic activities and internships
• Present a financial need
• Applications must be submitted before deadline

Pura Vida is a school retention project organized by Le Sommet high school, which allowed 15 at-risk students to push themselves for 18 months and travel to Costa Rica as a reward.
This team of engineering students travelled to rural Rwanda to coordinate the construction of a health centre, from start to finish, along with local partners.
